Super Cheap Auto Racing's Greg Murphy has revealed that he hasn't said goodbye to Australian V8 Supercar Series rival Marcos Ambrose, although he wishes the two time champ well on his NASCAR Craftsman Truck activities.
Murphy and Ambrose clashed a number of times when racing against each other, both on track and off with their famous Bathurst crash together this season getting the most headlines.
"No we haven't," Murphy told Crash.net Radio when asked if he'd spoken to Ambrose about Bathurst and to say goodbye at the final round of 2005. "I think that's all past us. Marcos and I probably aren't the best of mates and never will be but out on the track it's a different story, that incident was unfortunate and he obviously thinks that I was to blame, I completely think the opposite and we'll never agree on it."
Murphy did however wish his rival well on his move to the States, in a fashion somewhat different from the way he wished him well on his move when the duo were out of their cars an the Mount Panorama track.
"He's off and good luck to him over there," said Murph. "I don't really hold any grudges or anything and he's embarking on a pretty big deal and that's a pretty bold move so good on him."
