NEWS FLASH: Sordo goes out on DTS.
Kronos Citroen number two driver, Daniel Sordo has crashed out of the Cyprus Rally, the twelfth round in the 2006 FIA World Rally Championship, on the Down Town super special.
The Spaniard, who was the third runner into the 3.40 kilometre test, went straight on into a concrete kerb and his car had to be towed out.
He had been lying in tenth place overall after SS19, having re-started on Saturday under the SupeRally, following engine/turbo problems in the penultimate test on Friday.

His exit is a blow for Kronos as he had been on target to score the final manufacturers' point. Indeed since being promoted to the #2 car, the Spaniard has only managed to notch up points in one of his four events. He has already been confirmed in the second car for the next event in Turkey and the following one in Australia.
