Chili injured but raring to go.
Klaffi Honda rider Pierfrancesco Chili broke his collar bone at the last round of World Superbikes at Phillip Island in Austrailia only three weeks ago, but intends to ride at the third round this weekend at Valencia.
The likable Italian fell during the second timed qualifying session at the Australian circuit whilst trying to overtake a slower rider. Chili unfortunately touched a kerb, which caused him to lose control and fall.
Chili had an operation to pin the broken bone together but will still be in considerable pain when on the Klaffi Honda machinery.

"After my return from Phillip Island I had an operation," commented Chili. "Only three weeks after Phillip Island the fracture is not completely healed. But I'm willing to be fit for the race and my therapists do their best. In 2004 I finished second in race one and fourth in the following heat. A repetition of this success would be great!"
