Sykes holds on to pole in dry.

Tom Sykes held onto pole position in the dry second qualifying session at Croft in the British Supersport championship. The TAS Suzuki rider held off Stuart Easton and Craig Jones who were all running in the 1min 22secs, with only half a second separating the first three riders.

The session was red flagged with fourteen minutes left to go when oil was spilled on the track apparently by Craig Jones who had been leading the session early on. Young Irish rider Eugene Laverty put in a superb performance qualifying in fifth place ahead of Leon Camier and Jay Vincent.
