F3000 racewinner Stephane Sarrazin is the fifth name to feature in the reckoning for the second Arrows seat next year, it has emerged.


The Frenchman, who won two races for the Gauloise Junior team in as many seasons in F3000, joins Dutchmen Jos Verstappen and Tom Coronel and Japanese Tora Takagi and Shinji Nakano on Tom Walkinshaw's list of possibilities to partner Pedro de la Rosa next season.

Verstappen and Coronel, the latter crowned as Japanese FNippon champion last weekend, are thought to be favourites for the drive following the announcement of a deal between Arrows and technical sponsor Baan at the Malaysian GP.
