IRTA test - day two: February 15.
Aprilia's 125cc rookie Gaspare Caffiero shocked the MotoGP teams in Jerez when he outpaced the established front-runners on the second day of the IRTA tests in Spain.
Caffiero, who had been second fastest behind Manuel Poggiali after the first days running, seemed as surprised as anyone by the pace of his Team Fontana run Aprilia on his first visit to Jerez, and later praised the team and tyre suppliers Bridgestone for their contribution to his impressive performance.
