Marquez brushes aside his three-place grid penalty to dominate the Austin MotoGP for his perfect 6th COTA victory in a row. Vinales and Iannone complete the podium, the first for the Italian on a Suzuki. Pedrosa put up a brave performance with his recently fractured wrist.
Marquez back on top of the timesheets during warm-up for the Austin MotoGP. Vinales - who has inherited pole position after Marquez's grid penalty - is a close second, with title leader Crutchlow back on form in third.
UPDATE: Marquez has been stripped of his pole position start and will line-up fourth on the grid .
