Elm Bank Berwick Bandits have the toughest test of their 2004 season on Saturday night in a match vs. the magnificently powerful looking Glasgow Tigers who are desperate to win everything in sight this season. To make the Bandit's life even tougher the Travel Inn Tigers include former Bandits' Skipper, Paul Bentley, who most certainly will be after a double-point haul on Saturday night at 7,00pm.

Add to his scoring power, the massive potential from other Shielfield Park experts, Shane Parker who has performed oh so very well at Berwick in the past, and Czech George Stancl who has picked up many a fine victory there too over the years as well as another former Bandit, James Grieves plus the new-found form of veteran Graham Jones, and it becomes clear that Saturday night will be a major battle for the home team to keep the points in their kitty.

Promoter Peter Waite said, "This is going to be the best match of the year so far at Berwick, and it's going to be a heck of a toughy. I think our lads can do the biz, but it's going to take every supporter's chant and cheer to get the Bandits to that all important win. With Bentley, Parker and Co. in their side we cannot be allowed to get complacent, we must not gt over confident, or that will be our downfall. We have to treat them with respect and fight tooth and nail all the way.
